Hosted by the Goethe Institute, and co-organized by the German Consulate in Vancouver Canada, three researchers affiliated with German Universities (Prof. Hadi Dowlatabadi, Dr. Christian Reuten, and I) had the opportunity to go to Berlin, Leipzig, and Postdam in an exchange program to exchange ideas between the science and the practices of climate change in Canada vs. Germany.

We were able to meet with various people from the Ministry of Environment, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the leaders of NGOs like "Circular Berlin", to the Youth organization (NAJU) doing environmental education. We learned a lot from scientists and practitioners about the activities happening in Germany today!
