Policy and advocacy

Good science has the power to inform political decisions, but only if scientists work closely with leaders in government, NGOs, the private sector, and development banks.

My political agenda focuses on increasing youth participation in conservation decision-making, and in increasing awareness for biodiversity in government policies. As a former peace corps volunteer, I also work in the space of environmental issues and peace education.
